Okay sad day for hockey

As many of you may or may not know I am Anaheim Ducks fan have been since 1993. Scott Niedermayer has announced his retirement today. It is a sad for hockey all around because one of the greatest defensemen to play the game has decided it is time to hang up the skates. He will be sorely missed at the Ponda Center and in a small apartment in Oklahoma City. I was never really a hugh fan of his before he came to the Ducks. He is a great guy all around. He did lots of charity work that benefited children, environment, and animals. I cried as I watched him thank everyone. He was always willing to sign autographs for young fans and he would talk to you after the game. He made himself accessible to the fans. So here's to you Mr. Scott Neidermayer, you will be missed and I hope that the young guys of hockey will take your example to heart.
